  1. PBS not take cput of parallel jobs

Hi, I'd like to know if it is required some specific configuration to show correctly cput for parallel processes. When I use the qstat command, the job cput is not returned correctly. This happens only for parallel jobs. As an example: #> qstat Job id Name User Time Use S Queue ---------------- ---------------- ---------------- -------- - ----- 5571.cluster WOBdR100 user1 26:20:02 R long 5583.cluster cortina3 user5 24:57:47 R long 5585.cluster HuaLouB5 user1 24:34:37 R long 5586.cluster imerspec3dp user2 00:00:07 R long 5596.cluster A3C_Smirnov user3 00:00:16 R long 5598.cluster imerspec3dp user2 00:00:07 R long 5649.cluster vat_2d user4 00:00:01 R long The first three are serial jobs, and the others are parallel jobs. The parallel jobs have been running for a few hours. My PBSpro version is PBSPro_10.4.0.101257 Does Anybody knows what is happening?
  2. Hello, anyone know why this problem? i don't know why the job is suspended or enqueued. # tracejob 5558.cluster Job: 5558.cluster 02/11/2012 10:23:01 S Job Queued at request of user1@cluster, owner = user1@cluster, job name = test2, queue = medium 02/11/2012 10:23:01 S Job Modified at request of Scheduler@cluster 02/11/2012 10:23:01 S Job Modified at request of Scheduler@cluster 02/11/2012 10:23:01 S Job Modified at request of root@cluster 02/11/2012 10:23:01 L Job would conflict with starving job 02/11/2012 10:23:01 S enqueuing into default, state 1 hop 1 02/11/2012 10:23:01 S dequeuing from default, state 1 02/11/2012 10:23:01 S enqueuing into medium, state 1 hop 1 02/11/2012 10:29:57 S Job Modified at request of root@cluster 02/11/2012 10:29:57 L Job is starving 02/11/2012 10:29:57 L Job would conflict with starving job just means I have more than a starving job? Att.
  3. collect usage statistics of jobs

That was exactly what I needed. Thank you!
  4. collect usage statistics of jobs

Hello, Is there any way to get statistics data for the past months of using a system with the PBSpro? for example, how many jobs were run within 2 months, how many were in the queue, which queue it ran? etc... To do that, I need make a script to get the data from the PBS logs (/ var / spool / PBS / server_logs) for me? Rodrigo
